ENGINEERING · QUALITY · STANDARDS

Quality you
can rely on.

The standards, certifications and engineering commitments behind every system we deliver from cell chemistry to thermal performance to warranty.

§ 01HEADLINE NUMBERS

Eight figures, in one place.

Each cell is a contractually warranted value. Substantiation available on enquiry.

01 / CELL CHEMISTRY
LFP

Lithium iron phosphate, prismatic format. Thermally stable, no cobalt.

02 / CYCLES TO 80 % SOH
8,000

1 C charge / 1 C discharge. 25 °C ambient, 80 % DoD. Independently verified.

03 / WARRANTY
15 yr

Linear performance warranty. Capacity at year fifteen is contracted, not estimated.

04 / OPERATING ENVELOPE
−40 / +60 °C

Liquid cooled thermal management. Desert pack for above fifty degrees sustained. Arctic pack for sub-zero starts.

05 / INGRESS / CORROSION
IP55 · C5

IP55 dust and water jets. C5-M marine. C4 standard on commercial cabinets.

06 / TIME TO LIVE
6 hr

Arrival to first export. Pre-tested at UK works, two-crew commissioning.

07 / EMS LATENCY
< 1 s

Local control loop runs on the container. Site keeps working if the network does not.

08 / STANDARDS
IEC · UL · G99

IEC 62619, UL 9540A, G99 / G100, CE, UKCA, GCC EQM. Certification packs issued, not requested.

§ 02CHEMISTRY

LFP. By choice, not by accident.

Lithium iron phosphate is the only chemistry that combines a cycle life worth warranting for fifteen years with a thermal profile an insurer can underwrite.

LFP. By choice, not by accident.
WHY LFP, NOT NMC
  • NO COBALTEthically sourced supply chain. No conflict-mineral exposure.
  • THERMAL STABILITYThermal runaway threshold ~60 °C higher than NMC. Insurance follows.
  • CYCLE DEPTH8,000 cycles at 80 % DoD. NMC typically warrants 4,000.
  • CALENDAR LIFECapacity at fifteen years contractually guaranteed, not modelled.
  • ROUND-TRIP EFF.≥ 90 %. Within 2 % of NMC, well within commercial tolerance.
  • ENERGY DENSITYLower per cell. Mitigated by container format, not on-vehicle.
§ 03THERMAL & PROTECTION

Liquid cooled. Sealed. Redundant.

Air cooled stationary storage was a stopgap. Every EMS product runs on a sealed liquid loop with active cell level balancing and a fully redundant pump array.

01

Liquid cooling loop

Glycol-water mix, redundant pumps. Cell-pack temperature held within ±2 °C of setpoint across the full operating envelope.

02

Active cell balancing

Cell-level voltage and impedance monitoring. Drift flagged at sub-millivolt resolution. Pre-emptive intervention before fault.

03

Fire suppression

Per-rack aerosol suppression with cross-zone interlocks. Pre-action staged. Standalone gas detection independent of BMS.

04

Ingress protection

IP55 enclosure, marine-grade fasteners, salt-spray validated. Coastal and offshore deployments certified.

05

Corrosion class

C5-M for marine and high-chloride sites. C5-I for industrial chemical environments. C4 standard on cabinets.

06

Seismic & wind

Seismic zone 4 anchorage on twin-bay containers. Wind load 220 km/h for hybrid roof deployments.

§ 04FACTORY ACCEPTANCE

Every unit is tested before it leaves the works.

Burn-in, full charge-discharge cycle at rated power, thermal mapping, vibration, weatherproof verification, comms loopback, BMS fault injection. The certification pack travels with the unit, not on request.

TEST SCHEDULE · STANDARD
  1. 72 hBurn-in at site-equivalent profile
  2. 8 hFull discharge / charge at rated power
  3. 4 hThermal mapping across cell pack
  4. 1 hVibration on shake-table
  5. 2 hComms loopback, fault injection, fail-over
  6. 1 hVisual inspection, certification, dispatch
